Pressure Reducing Valve Replacement in Newville, AL
We recently completed a plumbing service call in Newville, Alabama, where the homeowner was experiencing unusually high water pressure, intermittent pressure loss, and water hammer. Testing showed incoming water pressure reaching approximately 150 PSI.
The pressure reducing valve (PRV) was no longer regulating the home's water pressure consistently. We replaced the faulty PRV and established a steady 40 PSI operating pressure. After replacement, the pressure remained consistent, and the water hammer and intermittent pressure problems were corrected.
If your Newville home has banging pipes, sudden pressure changes, unusually high water pressure, or faucets that lose pressure, a failing pressure reducing valve may be the cause.
Greenscape EcoChic Plumbing & Septic provides water-pressure diagnostics and PRV replacement in Newville, AL and surrounding communities.
